The Egg Drop Project
This project challenged the 7th and 3rd grade students to build a prototype, which was strong enough to protect an egg when it was launched from a great altitude. The students worked in groups and everybody had a chance to share their opinions and ideas. The students walked to the fire station and anxiously waited their turn to watch their prototype being launched from the highest part of the fire truck ladder. Some of the projects were strong enough and protected the egg, others not as much, but everybody had a lot of fun. This project help build a stronger connection between the 3rd and 7th grade students.
